In this networked learning space we will share lesson plans that provide students with authentic learning experiences. We will share links to resources that help in lesson planning and we will develop ideas that can improve our use of those online resources. We will discuss web tools and how these tools help us teach skills that prepare our students for the 21st century.
Anyone can join, but teachers and librarians will find this community of special interest. Once one becomes a member of edWeb.net it is only a matter of joining the teaching connections community. The community toolbox on the left column of the home page provides members with the monthly blog and access to the discussion forums. Members will be sent emails whenever a new posting occurs.
Members can add to the blog or discussion forums. Just go to the community toolbox and click on either the blog or discussion forums to be directed to the comment page. Members can also send links to the discussion via the email icon at the top of the discussion forum page. Sending links and invitations to join our community helps to increase our membership and generate new topics of interest.
The community calendar shows planned events such as scheduled monthly chats and webinars. Sugestions for webinar topics are always appreciated and members need only send a message to "Contact Admin" from the community toolbox.
The resource library provides links to online tools that have been reviewed by myself or other members. Sample online projects are provided under weblinks. Members are welcome to share their online projects links as well.
