This is an online professional learning community (PLC) that presents free webinars, live chats, and online discussions that make is easy to collaborate with fellow educators on the common goal of improving student learning.
As a part of the PD in Action Community, educators will be able to discuss, explore, and encourage each other to share and exchange strategies, ideas, and proven teaching and learning practices, infusing appropriate technology in ways that matter and make sense.
The PD in Action Community will not only assist you in building a network of colleagues and mentors, but also assist you in continuing to refine and develop your practice through a collaborative professional development experience. Our community presents the opportunity for members to exchange ideas and discoveries, investigage and reflect on questions and concerns, examine and uncover effective ways to educate and motivate educators and students.
As a member of the community, you'll be invited to a free webinar and live chat each month. You'll have access to all of the recorded webinars, presentations, and resources, providing you with an online resource center you can return to at any time. CE certificates are provided for attending and viewing the webinars.
With monthly professional development webinars, follow-ups to the webinar, and an active community of library and classroom teachers, this community will be a vibrant and ever-growing collaborative space! About the presenter, Kathy Schrock
Kathy has been a school district Director of Technology, an instructional technology specialist, an adjunct education professor, and a middle school, academic, museum, and public library librarian. She is currently teaching online graduate courses for Wilkes University, as part of the Wilkes-Discovery masters program in instructional media. She is the creator of Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators.
