Join Student-Driven Learning: Project-Based Learning, Makerspaces and more

Student-Driven Learning is a free professional learning community that provides educators and curriculum leaders with a place to collaborate and converse on one of the fastest rising and most powerful learning practices in K12 learning today. We will explore new insights from neuroscience, psychology, social media, and IT around student-driven learning practices that empower students to work more independently and master important skills including:

  • Problem-solving
  • Collaboration
  • Critical thinking
  • Self-efficacy
  • Self-reflection

Educators and administrators can help our students feel invested in their learning by having them get directly involved in planning, assessing, and directing their learning projects through a range of teaching strategies including project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, coding, DIY and makerspaces, STEM, and Genius Hour programs.

"We are all failures -- at least all the best of us." J.M. Barrie, writer
