Are you a classroom teacher interested in shaping education policy? 

The VIVA Project is a nonprofit with one goal: To bring the voices of classroom teachers into education policy discussions. We do that with intense short-term online conversations around a particular topic in a particular school community, i.e. Chicago Public School teachers talking about how to restructure a school day, week and year in the best interests of teachers and students.

Once those short-term conversations end, we invite you here to join ongoing conversations. Current topics: Professional development and teacher leadership.

To join the conversation, you must first register with edWeb. Once you've done that, you're in. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about professional development, teacher leadership and any other topic you'd like to discuss with your colleagues across the country.
